The sweet shrubs that grow next to the 1832 log cabin on our farm (Our family lived in it till 1919 and then built the big house.) are native to North Carolina where they came from. They planted them when they arrived. Guess what? They’re still growing (Mama would break one off and “switch” me with it.😕) Sing with me: ”Precious Memories how they linger”.
