Attended a tribute for a great man retiring from years in public life. Many good and true things were said about him. What impressed me most - and all of those who spoke emphasized it - was his strong abiding faith in God. As his daughter said “rain or shine, we went to church”. Father, thank You for the opportunity to worship You. May we be found faithful in worship and service. It's Friday, and the weekend is here. We commit it to You. Amen.
