Before It’s Everlastingly too Late

The sand in the hour glass of my life  is running at “warp speed”. So little time, so much to do, I need to redouble my efforts. I don’t want to stand at the judgment seat and someone point a finger at me and cry, “if you had only told me!” Father, I pray that Your Holy Spirit can break through to the hardest heart, before it’s everlastingly too late, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Don’t Give Up

Sometimes the weight of responsibilities and duties becomes so heavy we can scarcely lift them. Satan encourages us to give up. He uses everything to try and thwart God’s eternal plan for us. Don’t quit; don’t give up. We serve the almighty God who never leaves us.🙏Father, we need You today, please help us to do Your will, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Pray for Our Families

Oh Facebook friends, my heart is broken over families that are in disarray. Psalm133 says, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people (families) live together in peace and harmony”. There are several that I am praying for because our mortal enemy has launched a full assault against them. Please pray for our families; God please deliver them, in Jesus' name, amen.

Are We Packed Up?

Memorial service today for a family whose mother, grandmother, sister passed away - she didn’t want a service, but the family needs closure.🙏 I want an old fashion service, preaching, singing. It’s not for me but for my family.✝️ Are you prayed up, packed up? Our time of departure may be nearer than we think, amen!

Our Commission

Visitation today, and I just learned that missionaries in Japan are working the Olympics. The International Tribal Ministry is going into a remote village, and we’re just going to some homes near the lake, but they need Jesus too. In Matthew, Mark, Luke and Acts, we are given the commission to go unto all the world.🙏 Father, help us; help us all to be faithful to Your command, open doors and hearts, in His name, amen.

Don’t Be Troubled

A Christian lady, a long time faithful member of our church passed away yesterday morning. The last five years had been really tough, but now she’s at peace. The last scripture I had shared with her was John 14. “Let not your hearts be troubled.” Father, we commit all to You, our today, our eternity, we know that You are the way, the truth and the life, amen.

We’re Hiring

In line to pick up breakfast, it took a while because they are short of help.😕I see the signs everywhere; we’re hiring!! Nehemiah 4:6: “the people had a mind to work”. Genesis 2:15: “tend and care for the garden”. We were created to work. Father, give us a heart and will to work, to provide for our families and further the Kingdom, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Celebrating God’s Blessings

Our church celebrates 37 years of God’s blessings in our homecoming. There have been days of great joy and of mourning, but through it all He has blessed us. Our goal is to preach, teach and reach. At the end of our way we pray that He would say “well done thou good and faithful servant”. Come join us today, amen.

We Commit All to God

Early morning phone call - one of our deacons had recent surgery at the ER, and the stitches came loose.🙏 Father, we lift him up, for healing, in Jesus’ name. I learned anew how dependent we are on the Father, for everything, even the small things. My wife lost the rubber tip from her walking cane. I prayed, and He lead me right to it.🎉 Father, all that we are, all that we need, all that we have, we commit to You, amen.

Lord, We Pray

Defund law enforcement? Talked with several agencies and they’re having huge problems attracting new officers to take the place of those retiring or leaving for safer jobs. Please join me in praying each morning for our law enforcement and their families, for The Father to put His arms around them to protect and care for them. Oh Lord, we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.

Hold to God’s Promises

Attending a funeral for awesome Christian lady this morning (we’re distantly related). My favorite passage came to mind from John 14 where Jesus says, “let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in God believe also in Me”. He goes on to say there’s plenty of room in the Father’s house and that He is coming back for us. Father, when our hearts are troubled help us hold to these wonderful promises, thank You, in Jesus’ name, amen.

We Need the Father

Ever been in the “valley of the shadow of death”? We all have. David certainly was when he wrote those words. Despite this anguish of the soul, he went on to say, “for You are with me”. Oh in the days of despair, He is with us. Jesus said, “I will never leave you”. Oh Father, today more than ever, we need Your presence in our lives, fill us with Your Holy Spirit, we ask in Jesus’ Name, amen.

Jesus Gave Us the Answer

What do you do when you can’t do anything? On the cross Jesus couldn’t even scratch His nose. To come down would have defeated the salvation plan, so He prayed for others, “Father, forgive them”. He thought of others, “Woman, behold your son”, giving His mother into John’s care. He did for others, for the repentant thief, “Today, you will be with Me, in Paradise”. On the days when you can’t do anything, Jesus gave us the answer, amen.

Eternal Life Insurance

Awesome afternoon of outreach - a young family just moved into the community. They gave us a warm reception in their home after we assured them we were not selling anything😇. Oh we do offer eternal life insurance policies. The premium paid by Jesus on the cross. We would love to talk with you about that.😇🙏 Amen! The message today is “Left behind in the pew”. Be Pleasing to God

Oh the blessings keep coming. Two answered prayers for healings yesterday and then a sweet lady from our church brought us a breakfast casserole.🎉 In Mark 10, Jesus asked blind Bartimaeus, “what do you want Me to do for you?” If He asks you that same question, what would you say? Bartimaeus said, “Master, let me see!” Father, let our answer be pleasing to You, amen.
