Read the church sign...”The nails didn't keep Jesus on the cross.” This is absolutely true! He could have called upon a legion of angels to set Himself free. Instead, it was us, you and me, who kept Him there, bearing our sins so we could be in a right relationship with the Father. As John 3:14-18 states, this is indeed true. Amen! ✝️

Ain't God good? He's so good to me, to all of us. Do terrible, tragic things happen? Yes, because we live in a fallen world, and our archenemy, Satan, takes fiendish glee in our suffering. But Jesus, who has overcome the world, will return soon to raise the dead in Christ and rapture us away home. This I believe. Amen!

Yesterday was a busy day and I still didn't get everything done, but God blessed me in a way I didn't see coming. Have you ever worried about money? The message on Sunday is “Behold the Lamb”! ✝️ No one exclaimed, 'Behold The Lamb' on Jesus' Crucifixion day or Resurrection Day, but they should have, as He is The Lamb of God ✝️. Thanks to His sacrifice, we can enjoy absolute forgiveness of all our sins 🙏 (and I have plenty). So let's exclaim, 'Behold The Lamb!' 🎉 AMEN?

After Easter, Then What? The most awesome event ever - I don't have the adjectives to describe it. Then what? Some doubted, some hid out, afraid, some left town, some went fishing, but what about us? It’s just a thought, but let us take every opportunity to worship, one day we may not be able to worship. If we have mobility and strength, let’s worship, the hour may be coming when we can’t engage in corporate worship, at the church. Father, thank You for giving us the opportunity and the ability to come together to worship You. Don’t let us waste it, AMEN?

Faithful servant underwent several hours of surgery, prayers answered, and she came through fine. God hears and answers our prayers; He’s never too busy, the line is always open. I can’t get in the Oval Office, but we have access to the throne room of the Creator of the cosmos 24/7. Let’s use it today, AMEN?

Message Sunday is, “A week after Easter What’s Next”. So many church family, friends, are in the hospital. I’m at coffee and prayer time with the men, and we’ve so much to pray about. I’m then taking my wife to a doctor’s appointment. “On the road again.” Father, thank You for everything, we feel Your presence in our lives, AMEN!

Awesome Sunrise Service, we could literally feel the presence of God. It was followed by breakfast, fellowship and Sunday School. My best “preacher count” is 200. Father, thank You for the Cross, our forgiveness and for the Resurrection, which assures us of eternal life with You. We’re on “Shouting Ground”, AMEN!

Luke 24:6 is the most awesome scripture. “Why are you seeking the Living among the dead? He is not here! He is Risen!” Jesus’ resurrection fulfilled God’s plan of the ages, fulfilling Biblical prophecy, making possible for us who trust in Him to have eternal life. The cemetery is not the final stop for believers. Today, we celebrate, we rejoice in His victory! AMEN!

It’s Good Friday, come worship with us at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church at 6 p.m. tonight. Three days that changed the world forever, we are now under the New Covenant (Luke 22:20). On Sunday morning, He ratified it by rising from the grave. His last cry said it all, “Tetelestai - IT IS FINISHED!” AMEN!

 “It is finished.” was Jesus’ last cry from the cross. Then the temple veil (a thick heavy curtain) that kept people from the Holy of Holies, the very presence of God, was torn in to from top to bottom. Now, we have immediate access to The Father. Jesus, our Great High Priest, made it a reality with His sacrifice on the cross. Can we say AMEN TO THAT?
