Awake...can’t sleep...prayed for everyone and everything that’s got a name.🙏 The Father was awake. The door to His throne room is open🙏 at three o’clock in the morning or three in the afternoon. He’s available at all times. Our children could call us a dozen times a day (we wish❤️); we would never be too busy for them.😇  Do you need to talk to Him? It’s a local call; just say “our Father” I need to talk with You. He’s available.🙏 Try it. ✝️ Amen.

Read this recently: A little girl cried, “Mommy, my tummy hurts!”, the Mother, “That’s because it’s empty, you need to put something in it”! Preacher, visiting there for supper, said, ”I’ve got an awful headache!”. The little girl piped up, “That’s because it’s empty”!😅 Father, we don’t want to be empty; fill us with Your presence, Your Holy Spirit, and the truth of Your Word! Have you read the Bible lately? Funeral yesterday for an awesome Christ Follower...if a funeral can be good, it was good.❤️ The family had tears but had chuckles as I reminded them of special funny moments in his life. I assured them that because of his relationship with Christ and his faithfulness that he received the highest accolade: “well done, thou good and faithful servant!” Father, help us to remain true and faithful that at the end of our way, You would say,“well done thou good and faithful servant”. Amen.

Cooling my heels at Doctor office, waiting my turn, I had a pop up blessing. I bumped into dear friends whom I hadn’t seen in ages - oh, moments of joy. As they left, I thought of the times our lives had intertwined over the years. Father, thank You for the unexpected moments of joy. Help us to treasure the friendships, not to take them for granted. They are a special blessing from You. (Proverbs 18:25) “There is a Friend who sticks closer than a brother”. His Name is Jesus. Amen.

Holy Spirit at work yesterday with us receiving three new members.✝️ We had several returning guests also. 😇 Father, please guide, help Your church...all of those teaching, preaching the true Gospel.🙏 Help us overcome Satan as he tries to defeat us in reaching people for You. We believe the clock is running on Your return.✝️ When the trumpet sounds - let us all be found busily at work in Your vineyard...so busy that we would lift our heads and say “what was that”.🙏 Amen.

Early - can’t sleep; 😕it’s not my conscience; Jesus took care of that on the cross. He won’t remember our sins against us, no more 🎉(Hebrews 8:12). Had a good day yesterday, we reached out to three families; we left their homes actually shouting✝️(we waited till we got in the car)! Knocking on some doors today,😇pray for open doors and hearts.🙏Sunday school starts back first Sunday in May. It’s a little different,🙏but a beginning. I’m working on a message. I preached to my steering wheel😅not on the computer yet - “It’s not what you know; it’s who you know”. I know the governor, the president, but they don’t know me. Oh, we can know Jesus, and He knows us! Father, thank You that You know us personally, and have our names engraved on the Palms of Your Hands (Isaiah 49:16). Amen.

At the family farm yesterday, back to graves of Mama, Daddy, little brothers, I confess that I had tears. Oh Father, please come soon, take us home. I catch myself watching the eastern sky, looking for You in every sunrise. Please help us to serve You in the here and now.🙏 I visited with a dear lady and her family yesterday afternoon, a faithful servant. It was another pop up blessing. I know that I’m rambling😕 please forgive me.✝️ Thank You for another day of life, help us use it wisely for You, amen.

My mind is in whirl😅-too much to think about. I kept waking up during the night,😕then the words came to me that Jesus spoke to the wind and waves that stormy night on the sea. His disciples were clinging in fear to the sides of the boat. He said and only He, the Creator of all things,  could say this, He said “Peace be Still”! Father, in the storms that come into our lives, we cling to You, please bring us peace and stillness, amen.

Develop a vaccine in 9 months? Impossible. It’s never been done before! In fact, there are several now.😇 How did this happen? Little Maddie, 5 years old, prayed each night, “Lord, please take away this “old germ”, so we can go back to church!”  Many others were joining her.🙏 Today, we rejoice that we have an all powerful God who hears and answers our prayers. Pray today; He wants to hear from us, amen.🙏

 Prayer and coffee time with the men this morning. All men are invited at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church. We don’t talk about how many fish we caught or the golf scores. We pray every Tuesday at 7:15. Have you discovered that during this COVID-19 thing that you find yourself in prayer more and more? Crisis will drive us to our knees.🙏Father, You know our needs, we just want now to praise You, to thank You for everything, to God be all the glory🙏✝️amen.

Good morning!🙏 We had an awesome worship yesterday. I felt the Holy Spirit with answered prayers.🙏 At sunrise as we worshipped, we saw the incredible beauty of the rising sun. I don’t have the words to describe it, but we knew the Lord was there. By preacher count, we had over 150 worshippers in both services combined. What did His resurrection accomplish?  How about: “There is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus”! Amen!

Home from “drive through”.😇I collapsed;😅 it was a great day. Many children came. 🎉Thanks to our hard working church folk.👍 Sunday, Resurrection Day✝️ we can have hope, not wishful thinking, but hope based on the sure word of God, that Jesus arose, He lives, and He is coming back, soon, for His church✝️. In the language of today: ”it’s a done deal🎉”! So rejoice, again I say rejoice! Amen.

Update on my wife: Dr. says the arm is healing. She gets the sling off in two weeks and 🎉had first “shot” to strength her bones.🙏 Today at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church, Easter drive thru for all children from 2-4 PM. It’s Saturday, “low in the grave He lay, waiting the coming day.” Tomorrow in our sunrise (7:30 AM in parking lot) and 11 AM service, we will read with great joy, “Why are you seeking the living among the dead? He is not here; He is risen!” Maybe, the most awesome words ever spoken.🎉 I long now for His soon return and to be reunited with our loved ones, who have gone before. Please come soon Lord, amen!

Good Friday🙏 the day that Jesus died on the cross - willing becoming the sacrifice that paid our sin debt. The penalty for sin is death; someone has to die.🙏 Good Friday, because of His death, we can be in a right, personal relationship with the Father. Lord, thank You. That’s not enough, but it’s all I have. Good Friday? For those who are not saved, it’s not😕. But they can be saved,🙏 ask Him to save you now! He will; anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.🙏 Make it Good Friday. Amen.
