Awesome day, I went with four of our deacons in the community to four different homes to observe the Lord’s Supper with those who were home bound. We could feel the Holy Spirit as we worshiped, and we saw the thankfulness in their eyes.🙏 A God bonus🎉was that one of them may be able to return to worship this Sunday.😇 Oh, our God is going to do some awesome things. Father, thank You for Your Holy Spirit, help us to break through any walls to reach people for You, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Satan attacks us in many ways. He is very subtle. Following two awesome worship services yesterday, I became despondent - feeling I had failed. Finally, the Holy Spirit broke through. He said it “ain’t” up to you! Just preach the “Word”, and I’ll do the rest! If Satan is causing you to doubt, tell him to take a “hike”. Father, today help us repel the “evil one” and fully trust in You. You are our strength and our sure hope, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Want an awesome verse? Try Luke 22:20 which deals with the cup after supper-the new covenant cup. Under the new covenant, we live under grace not the law. We couldn’t keep the law. We can’t even keep the speed limit! Today we observe the Lord’s Supper. It is His table, and we invite, encourage all Christ Followers to join us.🙏 Father, we examine ourselves; we repent; we obey Your command to do this to this in remembrance of You, amen! Exodus 8:10 is one of the most interesting verses in the Bible. God has sent the plague of frogs; they’ve got frogs in the cabinets, the kitchen, in their pants, frogs everywhere. Pharaoh asked Moses to pray and ask God to take away the frogs. Moses said “when do you want it?”, and Pharaoh said “do it tomorrow!” I have a message “one more day with the frogs”. Father, we ask You to save us, to deliver us now, in Jesus’ name, amen. We don’t want another day with the frogs!

Thankful that our daughter and son-in-law were not harmed in the storms in Rome yesterday. She was hunkered down in her in-laws’ basement.😇 I am working on a message about how little we know and how little we appreciate what Jesus went through during His Passion. The cross was enough, but He endured horrible punishment prior to that. I’m reading a book called “Greek Gems”(much over my pay grade). It has given me deeper insight. Oh,on today we say “Thank You Lord for saving my soul, for making us whole”. Amen.

Oh we got a “Little good news” yesterday from Gov.Kemp. Starting today GA opens vaccinations to all ages 16 and over,🎉and that the local hospital had no new cases of the virus for two weeks.🙏 Father, thank You for Your deliverance and for the best “news”, we have a Saviour, Christ the Lord!

Battery dead in one of the cars and 😕can’t find one set of the keys, 😕 I’ve tried to determine whose fault. Guess what? Yep, it’s me.😕In this world Jesus said you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer.🙏I have overcome the world.🎉 Father, when we get in a “mess” often of our own making, thank You for being there, in the middle of everything we feel Your presence. Had a drain line clogged, an old friend, a master plumber, came and spent several hours. As he worked we reminisced, prayed. It was a good day. Now, coffee and prayer time with the men, it’s an awesome experience.🙏So easy to get discouraged, as we watch the news, but I trust God that His plan will not fail or be defeated.🙏 Let us continue to pray, to be faithful. Our hope and trust is in Him and ourselves, amen.

Watched our daughter prepare lunch and supper for us and the memory machine kicked in. Back in the day, I watched her mother as she nursed and fed her...full circle.❤️ We are so thankful that all three of our children honor and keep the 5th commandment.🙏Father, I pray for all the families, please protect, help them, encourage them.  It hit me like a “ton of bricks” this morning that my only resource is the Father. When your back is against the wall, we have nothing else. Our Amey is singing “The Lord is my Shepherd”, oh how true. If you’re struggling right now, call on Him; He will hear; He loves us; He is available 24/7. All I can say is Lord, thank You, amen.

Putting my list together, one of our deacons and I going to knock on doors today. Watch out!😇 We may be headed your way. It’s just a tiny part of Acts 1:8 command that we are to be witnesses unto the entire world; this is our tiny part of it. Jesus said that once the entire world has heard then the end will come (Matthew 24:14). Father, how we need You, oh how we need You, amen.

Praying and I cried out, “I plead the blood of Jesus; that’s all I have!” The Holy Spirit spoke and said, “And that’s all you need!” Friends, that’s all we need. Jesus cried out on the cross, “it is finished”! It was complete. His Blood is all we need! Thank You Father for the blood. We apply it to our lives through an act of faith in You, amen.

Been awake since 2 a.m., I have realized afresh and anew that my total dependence is on the Father for another breath of life, literally for everything. Father, help us to remember that not  even a sparrow falls by the way that You’re not aware of, and we who are created in Your image are worth more than many sparrows. Thank You for being our shield, our everything. Forgive me; I plead the Blood of Jesus, amen.
