Scrolling through Facebook, I saw many requests for prayers for folks who are hurting or in ICU in critical condition.🙏🙏 We want to use the best medicine and doctors we can find,✝️but as one told me, “I have a few pills and potions, but healing comes from Him!” Father, thank You for our Doctors, Nurses, all our Medical folks, help them, protect them, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

Funeral service for a dear friend, we wept, we laughed, we prayed, we sung, if a funeral can be good, it was. Lord, it’s the day of worship, guide us in it that we would lift our hands up to You.✝️ Thank You for this day, amen.

An aunt and two close friends have passed away in the last few days; I’m helping with one of the funerals.✝️ I have an abundance of good things to say about them, all three were Christ Followers. What will they say about us? The most important would be that he knew Jesus and Jesus knew him.🙏 Do you agree? Amen!

Thank You, Lord, for protecting us in the storm.✝️ I’m on my way to the hospital for some more tests.🙏 I had a minor accident on Monday morning.☹️ Life, things, happen, but God is in control.✝️ We submit everything to Him, in the Name and Authority of Jesus, amen.

So much I don’t grasp or understand, so much pain, suffering.🙏 I remember that we live in a fallen world,☹️and I know that the hour when He will heal all pain and suffering is quickly approaching.✝️ Read Revelation 21:1-5. There will be no more pain, tears, or separation.🎉 Let’s pray that day will soon come, amen.

My sister came by and brought me a coffee percolator like the one we had back in the day.🎉 Simple things can bring joy!❤️ My prayer calendar is full.🙏 Father, I bow humbly before You; I ask for healing for so many🙏 including some children.❤️I ask this all in Jesus’ name, amen.

Our daughter cooked us an awesome, traditional New Years lunch (I still call it dinner😄) of blackeye peas, collard greens, cornbread.🎉 For the next couple of Sundays, we’re sharing about the Name above all Names from Philippians 2. I’m wearing a t-shirt that has many of those Names on it ( a Christmas gift from Amey & Ronald). All will confess He is Lord, we who belong to Him can say, “He is my Lord”, amen.

Today is the last opportunity for “corporate” worship this year. We can worship anywhere, in a hospital room, yes, in a school room, hotel, you name it.🙏 But today, if we can, let’s come together as the Body of Christ, and lift hands to praise Him.🎉 Wouldn’t be awesome if He raptured us away in our worship service?
