Jesus stood in the boat ( the disciples were ok, He was in the boat). Is He in your boat? He said, “Peace be still”. He has authority over all; He is the Creator of all. Father, we pray for those in the physical, spiritual storms, please be in their boat and in our boat. We ask for peace, in Jesus' name, amen.

If a funeral can be good, the one yesterday was good. We laughed; we cried; we remembered an awesome Christian woman. Another tidbit of wisdom from her, "don’t leave this world if you’re not right with Jesus; don’t leave this world if you’re not right with your family”. You’ve got these two nailed. You’ve got it! Father, we lifted up those struggling with their relationships, please help them, in Jesus' name, amen.

Have funeral in Albany for a dedicated Christian lady, educator, wife, mother, grandmother. She did it all; her advice to all was "if in doubt, don’t do it!” I’m going to quote her husband just before he slipped away. He told his family, "It's alright; I know Jesus and He knows me!" And she did know Jesus. And oh, she’s not in a “better place”, she’s in heaven!! Father, thank You for a life well lived, help us do the same, in Jesus' name, amen.

Blessed yesterday as an awesome couple came at decision time to be part of the church family🎉. I left the building walking about two feet off the ground😇. Working on new message “all about angels”. There are angels all around us (Hebrews 1:14, 13:2,psalm 91:11,34:7). I believe I have seen at least one. Father, thank You for Your angels who are Your messengers and our guardians, thank You for another Monday help us use it for You, amen.

All about Heaven is today’s message. Despite what mass media tries to portray, polls say over 90% of the American people believe in heaven and want to go there! I’m with them. Watch the service today; it’s all about heaven (it’s archived, you can watch later). Got your ticket? It’s not too late, but the boat may be leaving soon. Father, we ask that when we die physically that You take us home to heaven, where we can spend eternity, worshiping, praising and serving You, in Jesus' name, amen.

I’ve been rejoicing; God has answered so many prayers in the past few weeks. Then yesterday, I received word that a young woman I had been praying (for her healing -she was doing so well) had died🙏. I have a message coming up, “when God says no”. Jeremiah 33:3 "God says call to Me, I will hear and answer you”. The answers to prayer are: yes, later on, something else and no. Father, we love and trust You implicitly with today, tomorrow, with forever. Help us to understand, forgive us, in Jesus' name, amen.

On the radio the preacher was preaching “be holy as I am holy”. I thought about my feeble attempts to live a holy life and of my many awful sins and despair. Then the preacher told of our “imputed” righteousness, our "imputed" holiness. He stated that the Father sees not wickedness, but through the Blood of Jesus, applied to our lives through an act of faith in Him, He sees Holiness! It's way over my pay grade, but one more thing to praise and thank Him for. Father, we plead the only thing we have, the precious Blood of Jesus, amen.

A sudden storm with blinding rain, hail, & wind struck where our daughter and son-in-law live. Trees down, crop damage, power outage - they never saw it coming. Praise the Father; they’re ok🙏. Ever been blind sided or caught off guard by something you never saw coming? Our Father, to whom we belong, is never surprised or caught off guard. That is why we commit our today’s and all of our tomorrows to Him. He promised to never leave or forsake us even in the valley of the shadow of death. Thank You, Father, amen.

I love this promise in Hebrews 4:16: "let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace in time of need”. To find the basis for this promise read verses 14 & 15. We have a great High Priest, Jesus Christ, who knows and understands. Father, we thank You for the grace and forgiveness that we have through Your unconditional love, amen.

Frogs we’ve got them. My memory machine kicked in today. When our son was about nine, his mother found a pan of water on his dresser...filled with tadpoles. She screamed, "what are you doing?". He replied, "I’m raising me some frogs". Where does the time go? Years fly by like minutes. Let’s savor the memories; let’s not waste any moment. God has placed us here for His purposes. Let’s get busy. Father, it’s Your day, help us use it wisely, in Jesus' name, amen.

Up early - it's a lifetime habit that I can’t break. I 😇use it to pray for everyone and everything that I can think of. Isn’t it amazing that I can’t get in the Oval Office, or get the governor's attention, but we can come into the throne room of the Creator of the Cosmos 24/7. What an awesome privilege this is, and we never “wear out our welcome"! Hey, He’s ask us to come in, let’s use it! Father, thank You, we praise You, in Jesus' name, amen.

One of our deacons shared that a dear friend of his (that we’ve been praying for) had died. A good friend of mine died this week. Hebrews tells us that death is the fate of all. It's followed by the judgment. The question we all need to ask ourselves is where will we be one minute after we die? That determination is made now. Have you made the right eternal decision? Anyone who calls upon the name of Jesus shall be saved. Father, we cry out as the thief on the cross did, "Lord, remember me when You come into your glory!! Amen.

A church family is so important. So many have prayed and reached out to us and others during trying times. A sweet lady brought us a delicious coconut cake to cheer up our daughter following her surgery🤗. The “church” belongs to Jesus. He told Peter “upon this rock, I will build My church". Nothing can stand against the "rock", Our confession of Him as Lord and Saviour!! It’s the old “ship of Zion”; it may be leaving soon, so it's time to get on board🙏🙏. There’s room for all. Father, help all to see the necessity of being a part of your church, in Jesus' name, amen🙏.

On the way to Albany for our daughter’s surgery this morning🙏. At the same time another family from our church, their son is having surgery at Mayo in Florida. We have another member who is in Crisp Regional and still another coming home from New Jersey. We never run out of people and issues to take to the Father - who always hears us and helps us 24/7. Got an issue then bring it to the Father. It's a local call🙏. Father, help us, please, we need You, we ask in Jesus' name, amen.

Following my early morning prayer, I kept repeating the 23rd Psalm. When I read or watch the news, I realize we are with David. We are literally walking “through the valley of the shadow of death"! And as David said, "we know that You are with us". In Deuteronomy 31:6 and Matthew 28:20, God tells that He will never leave or forsake us, even till the end of the world. Oh, in these dark and dangerous days we hold to that promise. Father, we are in the valley of the shadow of death, please be with us, in Jesus' name, amen.
