On road to doctor appointment then to Macon to see a precious member in hospital. The Father has placed in my path a couple - I’m building a relationship with - to bring them into a relationship with the Lord. Pray, please that I will be led by the Holy Spirit. Father, we thank You for the opportunities You give to us, help us to seize the moments. I ask for safe journey and strength, in Jesus' name, amen.

Awesome day of worship as a husband and wife came to be part of the church family🎉! Everyone needs a church home where they can worship and serve. We remember that the church belongs to Jesus. He said, "upon this rock (confession of faith in Him) I will build My church and not even the gates of hell can prevail against". Do you have a church home? We have one available at LBBC. Two things: we love the Lord, and we love people. Amen.

Message today is "Build me a Tabernacle”. It was to be a place of worship, of His presence, an altar for sacrifice for their sins. As we look at it, we see a Messianic  promise of what God would do and be to us through His Son. You can watch live on our Facebook or web site. God puts opportunity before us. I just need to be aware. As I was paying for my coffee, I ask a lady how she was doing. She said can you get me a Bible? Oh my yes. Gideon friends, I’ll be calling you. She is someone who is struggling to survive. We who have been blessed with so much, Father, help us to be aware of the needs of others physically (our pantry ministry will help) and spiritually (to share Jesus with them). Thank You for another day of life; we give over to you, in Jesus' name, amen.

Great night of visitation! I stand in absolute awe of the answered prayers that the Father has given us. We needed another musician. We had prayed for two years. Now we have the organ and piano; they sound so awesome in worship. Sometimes I have tears of joy just listening to them. The lesson is don’t give up. Keep praying. In the fullness of time, He will work His way and will. Father, we thank You for Your love for us, for the answered prayers. We ask that Your will be done in Jesus' name, amen.

Oh what joy! A young lady from our church - graduating from college soon and served as president of the student government - has a great job awaiting her. Last night I could see the pride, joy and love in the mother’s eyes. Right now, Father, we pray for those young people who are struggling...who may be in the “far country”...that they would come home. We have a ring for their finger, shoes for their feet, and great joy that those who were lost are home, we ask in Jesus' name, amen.

Our son posted yesterday about his chorale performance at our church. I encourage you to go to his Facebook page and read it (PhillipStreetman). I've got to get a tire repaired this a.m. and try to beat checks to the bank. Also, one our deacons has surgery today. Father, You’ve given us another day of life. Help us not waste it, but use it for You in Your service, amen.

Day of anticipation as our son is bringing his chorale from the fine arts school in Augusta to do a worship concert. They will be going to Paris in March. I have a picture of him at age nine playing the old upright piano for family worship. Father, today we truly seek to worship You, let our hearts be pure and that You would be pleased. As always we lift up those who need You for healing, deliverance, salvation in Jesus' name, amen.

Awake and so many things cross your mind at 3:30 a.m. Memories I'm so thankful for the blessings that have come my way. The greatest of these is that God has shown me mercy and that I’m saved. I don’t deserve it, but God - don’t you love those two words? It means that He is about to do something awesome! But God showed me mercy. Thank you Father; my prayer plate is full, but most of all thank you Father. Amen.

Our son is bringing his chorale for our worship service this Sunday. We’re too proud😇! Just read of a mom arrested because she helped her son escape the law. It was wrong, but I know why she did it. Mothers are built that way. Father, today we pray for all those who have been led astray by Satan. Help us reach them. Bring them home to be what You created them to be. Help us to help them. The blood of Jesus can make the vilest sinner clean. Amen.

Weather alert...flash flood watch. Noah gave the people of his day a weather alert. There's a flood coming. For 120 years he preached, and no one listened. Since Jesus ascended back to the Father, the word has been going out. Many turn a deaf ear. This is an urgent appeal. Jesus is coming soon! Prepare! Are you listening? Are you prepared? Amen.

Another answered prayer yesterday for a beloved family (husband in the hospital for over a month), they’re home!😇 The message Sunday week is "Build me a Tabernacle” another look at Christ in the Old Testament. Today, Father, we commit this Wednesday to You. We thank You for so many answered prayers. Do you have a need? Ask Him. He hears; He answers. Amen.

Went to visitation for a precious Christian lady, praying for her family. We all know from personal experience how tough this is. Our hope, our dependence, is in the sure and certain return of our Saviour. Paul in 1st Thessalonians 4 said, “we don’t sorrow as those who have no hope”. The clock is running. Heaven is preparing for His soon return. As John said in the Revelation, "even so, come Lord Jesus”. Amen.

Awesome day of worship! A young man came to be part of the church family🎉. Today is President's Day. My favorite president was Harry Truman. On his desk sat a plaque that read “the buck stops here”. He was president when I was a boy, so I remember him well. Father, we pray for all those elected and appointed above us. Bless them; help them. CORRECT them! We pray in Jesus' name, amen.

On my way to church to get everything ready, and it's sprinkling rain. My prayer is that the house would be full of people lifting hands in worship, that someone would be saved, that someone would come to be part of the church. Father, watch over our van driver as he brings children to worship. We ask for nothing else except that we may praise and worship You and that your will be done. Amen.
