Reaching Our World

Sunshine today🎉 and visitation tonight. Many brave souls braved the rain and cold last night to worship. Others joined us on live streaming. The technology of our world gives us now the ability to reach our world with the gospel. Read Matthew 24:14 please. Father, thank you for all the ways You have given us to tell others. Read the passage to see what God is doing. Amen.

The Highest Accolade

Attended visitation for a fine Christian gentleman. It looked as if the entire community had turned out in tribute to the wonderful life and ministry he had. He was very active in his church. I heard so many wonderful comments, but we didn’t get to hear the best one. The Father, God gave him that one."Well done, thou good and faithful servant”. I pray that at the end of our way we could receive that one also. Father, this Your day use us in it. Amen.

Such Great Joy

Great day Monday visiting with folks at the Peach Medical Center and others at home. It is such great joy. As some one said, I have a big mouth and love to run it. Father, there are so many in sorrow this morning. We ask You to surround than with Your love and that they would be keenly aware of Your Holy Spirit’s presence in their lives. We ask in Jesus' name, amen.

Awesome Day of Worship

Awesome day of worship as Sheriff Billy Hancock inspired us with a message honoring God and country. We baptized three young people🎉 and had over 200 in attendance. Another 100 plus watched live online. Later today - headed to Peach Medical center to visit with one of our church family. Father, we worship you; we praise your Holy Name; thank You for loving us, amen.

We Kneel at the Cross & Salute the Flag

It's God and Country Day at our church. Sheriff Billy Hancock will preach; it's a blessing to live in a community where the sheriff is a man of God. He's not the only one; many of our law enforcement, our first responders are strong believers. Today as we pray, we lift up and remember those who serve us and their families. Today we kneel at the Cross and we salute our flag. God bless America. Amen.

Are You Making Memories?

Memories...my sister and I talk everyday. We reminisce about our childhood about the lessons we learned from our parents, our grandmother, and how each Sunday morning - without fail - we would go to Sunday school and worship at the little country church. How I would like to go back and to listen as they made the rafters ring. Are you making memories? It won’t be money that we’ll treasure but sweet memories. Amen.

God and Country Day

Busy weekend for our church with worship at Blackshear Villa today, at Cordelia Manor tomorrow and Family and Friends day Sunday. Sheriff Billy Hancock will preach. It’s God and Country day. We believe that God brought this country into being to be a great missionary force. We ask the Father to forgive us where we are off track and to restore us. Come Sunday and celebrate with us; enjoy lunch. We have a patriotic souvenir for all who attend. Amen.

Anything God Can’t Do?

Is there anything that God can’t do? It's an inane question because He is omnipotent. God is only limited in the areas in which He has chosen to limit Himself. He will not force us to be in a relationship with Him and to be saved. He will bring into play all the things necessary for our salvation, but He will not violate our freedom to choose to serve Him or not. Much of this is over my “pay grade”. Father, today I ask that we all would choose You as You have chosen us. I plead the only thing we have the Blood of Jesus. Amen.

Planning on Going to Heaven?

Ever wake up with heaven on your mind? We have descriptions of its beauty also of the things that won’t be there: no tears, no pain, no death. The most important thing is that Jesus will be there. In John 14 - He says, “I am preparing a place for you...I will come and get you...that you can be where I am". Where? He said in “My Father’s house!!” I’m planning on going. My fare paid on the cross. How about you? Amen on that?

Focus Our Priorities

Brrr...cold...28 degrees! Had a great night with the WOM and Brotherhood. We heard a challenging message about misplaced priorities. Father, at this point in our lives let our priorities be focused on worshiping You and serving and reaching others in Your name. This is really what life is all about. It took awhile to reach this point. I spent too much time focused on me. Help us to stay on track till You call us home in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank You Father

Awesome day at worship! A young lady, 12 years old, our children’s director and I led her to Christ. Thank You Father for the work of Your Holy Spirit! Thank You for another Monday...another day of physical life. It's Your day, help us spend it wisely, to reach others for You. Father, when we come to the end of our way, give us a home with You in heaven, we ask all in Jesus' name, amen!

Help Us

Raining - we now have water front property! Hope our taxes don’t go up! The message today is about the sanctity of life.. life created by the Father for His purposes. God help us to protect those unable to protect themselves. Father, despite the rain, we would assemble ourselves to worship You. Help us, is our cry to You. Help us in Jesus' name, amen.

Praise God for His Love

Busy Saturday! Item one is putting finishing touch on my message for tomorrow!! Tomorrow is our 57 anniversary! Going to pick up roses! At our age we really don’t need much. We thank God for providing for us and making a way over the years. If you hear us complaining, give us a swift kick! We have nothing to complain about - so right now I praise God for His love and care. Could you say amen to that?

Life Is So Precious

God told Jeremiah - that before He formed him in his mother’s womb - that He knew him and had His plans and purposes for him. Life is so precious; it comes from the Father, who has plans for each person. Please join me in speaking up for the protection of those sacred lives yet unborn. My question for those seeking my vote is “where are you on the sanctity of life". Would you join me? Amen.

We Repent

Watching the news, (as much as I can stand) events unfolding are pointing - I believe to the end times. Don’t let me Father, ignore them. Ancient Judah ignored the prophecy of Jeremiah (tried to kill him) that God was going to send judgment...not revenge but righteous judgment because they broke the commandment to have no other gods before Him. Father, we repent. Save us in Jesus' name, amen.
