On a roll! Another free coffee🎉! We had an awesome day of worship with a baptism and the greening of the church. Christmas is here. We received several gifts yesterday. We serve such a gracious loving church family. Father, we begin our Monday thanking You for the absolute joy (not happiness...it’s dependent on circumstances) the joy of knowing You through Jesus. It's Your Monday; help us spend it for You. Amen.

Thanksgiving, the day on the calendar is over, but our thanksgiving continues. Now we recognize our real reason for thanksgiving - the reason for the season. The Father wants a relationship with us which is possible only Jesus (John 14:6). Father, we do thank you for Jesus our Lord and Saviour - making it possible for a relationship with You. That’s the reason for the season. See you at worship. Amen.

Saw all the ads for “Black Friday”. There was a “Black Friday” two thousand years ago - when our Lord and Savior went to the cross to die for our sins, to complete God’s plan of the ages, our salvation. His cry from the cross said it all- "it is finished!” Shop till you drop? Ok,  have fun. Remember what Jesus did for all on Black Friday, amen.

Oh my a glorious day on Thursday, family, neighbors gathered to break bread to thank God for His blessings. I got a glimpse this morning of just how blessed we are. I met a lady at Flash - that we've been reaching out to - she spent yesterday alone.  She had a bowl of cereal. She was on her way to work this AM. Did the least I could, I prayed for her, and bought her coffee. Father, we pray for the lonely, the forsaken. Help us reach out to them. Don’t let us take our blessings for granted. Thank You, in Jesus' name, amen.

Thanksgiving - are we not glad we have a day dedicated to thanksgiving? We do have a lot that needs “fixing” in our nation, but still there are so many who are desperate to come here. They’re willing to break the law and to put their lives in danger. So for this moment, let’s think about the good things: so many who give up their time and resources to help others, so that we may still worship. Thank You, Father, for America, heal us and help us to return to You, in Jesus' name, amen. Happy Thanksgiving!🙏

Another free coffee🎉! We observe the Lord’s Supper tonight at 7. All Christian churches do. They have various names for it. We do this in obedience to our Lord’s directive, to remember, to thank Him for the salvation we have that He purchased on the cross for us. We invite you to come, worship with us. It’s a wonderful way to begin Thanksgiving. Father, guide us today in the right path. We have so many options, help us choose the right one, amen.

Another free coffee this AM! Oh the big blessings are awesome, but the small ones really speak to us. Young man that I’m reaching out to bought the coffee. He let me pray very quickly with him. We need to be aware and use the opportunities that God places in our path. It took me awhile, but I now know that our purpose in life is to serve Him. Father, today help us be alert for opportunities to reach out to others in Your name. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thanksgiving day is Thursday. Of all people I have been blessed. I have so much to be thankful for: family (all involved in music ministry), our church, our home, health. The list goes on and on, but the thing I am most thankful for is our salvation - purchased by Jesus on the cross. Without it we are helpless, hopeless. Do you know Jesus as savior, as Lord? You can. Just call on Him to save you. The Bible is very clear that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. I didn’t mean to preach, but this was on my heart today. Have a blessed Monday. Amen.

What will they say about us at our visitation? Paul wrote his own epitaph, "I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith, I have finished the course”. We all have our own race to run. To finish well you must start right. Paul's salvation on the Damascus road started right. Through many trials he kept the faith and finished well. Father, help us run our race well and keep the faith and receive our crown of righteous, in Jesus' name, amen.

Long day Friday-hot water problems. Tried to repair but finally had to get a new one. The young man that did the work-he is awesome. God uses everything in His plan and purpose both the good and the bad. As we spent the day with the young man, we were able to reach out to him and encourage him. He may come and worship with us!! Father, thank You for the opportunities You give us to reach others. Help us to seize them, in Jesus' name, amen.

Text our children each day. It’s important to hear from them each day after all I’m their father. Our Father, the One, who created us, who saved us. He wants to hear from us. Can’t get in the Oval Office, but we have 24/7 access to the throne of the One who created the cosmos!! Wow! What a privilege! Exercise it today. Let’s pray. He wants to hear from us in His Son’s name, amen.

Paul, 2nd Timothy, said “I am now ready to be offered up”. Paul knew he was going to die shortly. He was ready. Oh-he had fought the good fight, kept the faith, finished the course. He was ready because on the Damascus Road. He had a saving encounter with Jesus. Are we ready? Have we had a saving encounter with Jesus? Thank You, Jesus for our salvation; we pray for those who have not responded to the Holy Spirit; call on their lives, in Your name, amen.

Reading the Old Testament...long lists of genealogies...wondered why? One reason is family is so important to the Father. Before the tabernacle, the temple and the church, He created the family. Father, we thank you for all the families; please strengthen them; help us to encourage them. We thank You for this day. Help us to use it for You, in Jesus' name, amen.

Busy day! Aren’t we glad? Don’t want to rust out? Don't won't to wear out😇? God has given us a certain span of time. He has given each of us a gift. When we stand in His presence, He won’t ask about the sins we’ve committed. They’ve been erased by the blood of Jesus. He may ask us, "what did you do with the time and talent I gave you?" Father, thank You for this moment and Your gifts. Help us use both in Your service, in Jesus' name, amen.

Awesome day of worship as a lady who had been worshiping with us came to be a member of the family. We think of ourselves as family at LBBC - as family under the Lordship of Christ. We exist to worship and serve Him. He has given us life eternal; He lives in us through the Holy Spirit; He makes a way when there is no way. We invite you to worship with us. Experience family. The message this Sunday is "live right, die right”. It's Monday; let’s spend it for Him. Amen.
