Thank You Father

Thank You Father, for another day of physical life, for our eternal life, for all of Your  blessings, for the opportunity to worship You, for your Son Jesus who saves us, and for Your Holy Spirit Who indwells us. No requests today, simply and profoundly thank You for all, in Jesus' name, amen.

The Blood of Jesus

Awake at 3 a.m. Remembering days gone by...the good and the bad. Thank You Father for Your promise in Hebrews 8:12, "You will remember our sins no more.” Isn’t it awesome that our God knows all that He loved us enough to die for us and will not hold our transgressions against us. Our transactions are blotted out by the blood of Jesus. On a cold, rainy Saturday, that’s all we need. Amen.

Serve in the Midnight Hour

Every day brings it’s share of blessings and pain. A precious lady was in a serious accident. Praying for healing. Reaching out to a family that could be part of our church family. The safest place in the world is in the center of God’s will, yet that does not exempt us from pain and suffering. Ask Paul and Silas. They were beaten and locked up for preaching the gospel (Acts 16). Father, this is Your day. Help us to praise and serve you in the midnight hour (Paul and Silas did), and that we would be faithful to the end, amen.

God Has Prevailed

Having problems with my phone😞. We dedicated our fellowship hall last night. We had a huge turnout to celebrate what God has done. I've reflected over what He has accomplished over the past 35 years for our church. He has moved us from a single wide trailer to our current worship center. We've had many ups and downs. Satan has come against us, but God has prevailed. Father, we lift up all the churches and pastors preaching the true gospel. Help us withstand the assaults of Satan and to remain faithful to the end...till You come for us in the name of Jesus, amen.

God Uses Everything

Brrrr..cold...heat! The omnipotent God has charge of it all. Maybe my age but I see His mighty hand at work in the lives of His people, in His creation, even in those who are Christ rejectors. He uses everything, the good and the bad to fulfill His plan through the ages. Most of it is over my pay grade. We dedicate our fellowship hall tonight at 7 PM. Come have a hotdog and bowl of chili with us as we celebrate🎉. Father, today we ask that we be keenly aware of of Your presence in our lives, in Jesus' name, amen.

God’s Message Never Changes

Had to postpone a visit to a family interested in our church until Thursday afternoon. I spoke to the “39’ers” last night. They are awesome! Message this Sunday is "the jail house rock”. You can watch all of our services on the internet. Go to our website and follow the prompts. The ways of delivering the message constantly change, but the message never changes-that God created us, loves us, and has made our salvation possible through His Son. Father, help us tell others, by any means possible, amen😁!

Thank You Father

This Sunday we worshiped the Father, and we honored our veterans. It was an awesome day. Wednesday, we dedicate our new fellowship hall. Tonight, we visit a family that’s shown interest in our church family. Father, we do thank You for another day of physical life. Help us spend it for You. We lift up those who are in pain. Lord, please deliver them, in Jesus' name, amen.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day service Saturday at the state park. I was in tears as families came to lay memorial bricks in honor and memory of family members who had served in the armed forces-many in places of great danger. Then this morning, as we worship, we will also honor the many veterans in our church. It is special to me an Army vet., but most of all we will bow and worship the One who died for all. Father, thank You for our nation. We pray that we would repent and turn back to You and serve You. Amen.

Satan is Active

Satan is active. Satan is seeking those whom he may deceive and destroy. Over the years, I’ve seen homes and lives destroyed by the evil one. Know someone in Satan's clutches? Pray for them, reach out to them. We can reach them, for we serve an omnipotent God who is able to deliver them. Father, we lift up the prodigals, the strays. Please deliver them. Help us to remain strong in the faith, protect us from the evil one in Jesus' name, amen.

God’s Hand at Work

God continues to bless in big and small ways. I met a stranger, and we exchanged morning greetings. I had never met him before, but he bought my coffee!! Maybe it’s my age, but I can see God’s hand at work. I see so many answered prayers. Father, thank You for opening my eyes to see and to get a glimpse of Your hand at work in so many lives. Thank You, amen

Our Walk with Christ

Fast food place got order mixed up...frustrating. Obviously, they’re not perfect the way I am (ha ha). How we react to others - in difficult or frustrating circumstances - can say much about our walk with Christ.  Father, today help us to be positive and loving in our encounters with others, and most of all help us to tell them about You, amen.

The Clock Is Ticking

Time change😞! Didn’t know we had so many clocks. God created time as He did all else. "And the evening and the morning were the first day”. That’s when time began. We serve an eternal God who has made it possible for us - through the Blood of Jesus on the cross - to live with Him for eternity when we apply it to our lives through faith in Him. Have you done that? The clock is ticking. The message today is  "saved on the road”. Amen.

What a Mighty God We Serve

First ice on windshield!! Will it be as cold this winter as it was hot in the summer😞? I woke up praising God. We are constantly asking Him for healings, deliverances, etc., but sometimes let's just praise and worship Him and thank Him for being the loving, saving, redeeming, (about to run out of adjectives) awesome God that He is! On this Saturday, let’s just sing to ourselves the praise chorus "what a mighty God we serve.” Amen and amen!

Rejoice the Seasons are Changing

Brrrr. It's cold. Seasons are changing. Leaves are all over our yard. God, in the beginning, set the heavens in their place. He established the seasons in their times. As we observe this, don’t take it for granted. It is part of His master plan. As wonderful as it is, He has something more wonderful in store. Don’t take my word for it...read Revelation 21. Father, today help us rejoice in Your creation and to share the wonder and joy of it with others. Amen.
