A sad duty today, I have a funeral service for a faithful Christ follower✝️. I ask the Father to give me the right things to say to honor his memory and to comfort the family.🙏 What will they say about us at our service? That we were faithful Christ followers? Oh, that is the best, amen.

In deep prayer and sadness,✝️ a dear friend, a follower of Christ, Bro. Steve Huey was ushered into the very Presence of God last night. I had the awesome privilege of baptizing him. He was a devoted follower of Christ. Please pray for his wife and family and that God would put His arms around them,🙏🙏 amen.

Couple called with joy in their voices, a lesion on her daughter’s liver was benign!🎉 Oh, the joy of answered prayer.🙏🙏 If you’ve got an issue then take it to Jesus, He hears, He cares, He heals, and now Father, I bow humbly before You. I’m asking for healing for all those in physical need;🙏 I have several on my calender, amen.

Prayer calendar is filling up.🙏🙏 So many are facing serious health problems,☹️and all I can do is pray (I flunked Med 101). My prayer begins at 4:30 AM and continues in conversation throughout the day.🙏🙏 Isn’t it awesome that the Creator of the cosmos, of everything, welcomes us into His throne room and hears our prayers?🙏🙏 I ask for healing for all those I’ve lifted up to You, amen.

Attended a service for an awesome Christian lady, and if a funeral can be good, it was.✝️ This morning is coffee and prayer time with the men🙏, then on the way to the hospital as one of our men is having surgery and one of our member’s uncle is in ICU.🙏 The Preacher at the funeral reminded us of 2nd Timothy 4:7-8: finish the course, fight the good fight, keep the faith, amen.

Young lady came accepting Jesus as her saviour, to be part of our church yesterday.🎉🎉It had a country bumpkin preacher in tears of joy.🎉✝️ I’m working on the Lord’s Supper message for this coming Sunday. I’ve got a bunch of calls to make, and I’m visiting someone in ICU and attending a funeral for a precious friend.✝️ Father, please strengthen us, we need You, amen!

We had a great day yesterday at the state park as we honored veterans.🇺🇸 At Lake Blackshear Baptist Church this morning, we have a veterans service with a special token for each veteran who attends. Father, thank You for another day, help us use it wisely for You, amen.

Coffee prayer with the men, Covid shot, hair cut, voted, worked on my sermon, called and prayed with several folks-whew!😄 I’m trying to stay busy in the sunset of my life. Being busy isn’t what God desires. God desires a sincere heart, filled with His Holy Spirit. Father, fill us, amen.
