It Wasn’t a Silent Night

I love the Christmas hymn, “Silent Night”.✝️ It was a holy night, but not a silent one. Luke 2:13 tells that the night time sky was filled with “a multitude of the heavenly host singing glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, goodwill to men”!! Oh, let us be joyful, exuberant in our worship this Christmas, amen!

Watch Over

Our daughter wouldn’t let me go on the “biscuit run”. She said there was a tornado watch out till 9 a.m.✝️ My memory machine kicked in, and I remembered all the times she was growing up that we watched over her. Guess we have come full circle.❤️Pray for our visitation tonight that God would open doors and hearts, amen.

More Pop-Up Blessings

So many ”pop up” blessings,🎉two sweet ladies brought boxes of goodies, and one of our deacons and his wife blessed us with a delicious chocolate cake.❤️ I get frustrated at times. I meet so many people. They remember me and bless me so much, but then I can’t call their names.😠 It’s my “gray hair”!😇 Please forgive me, and thank you for “remembering me”, amen.

Blessings

A dozen men at ”prayer and coffee time” and another blessing, the man - who started it - (he and his wife had moved away) called and led us in prayer.🎉 We are still rejoicing over our cantata.✝️ You can watch on our website.😇 Lord, thank You for Your blessings, amen.

Oh, What a Night!

Oh, what a night it was with a house full of worship, a beautiful job by our choir on our cantata, children galore taking part in the cantata, ole Santa and his elves bringing joy, and delicious food. It was a great time of fellowship! We had three long-time, faithful members (sickness and surgery had kept them home bound) who were able to attend. 🎉🎉Father, thank You for the joy. It was a slight taste of what heaven will be like. This ole country preacher’s heart is full of joy! 🙏Amen!

Mary, Did You Know?

Mary, did you know? Oh, I love this song. Mary, after hearing from the angel, knew her life was about to change radically.✝️ When we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, our lives will change radically.✝️ Lord, thank You for changing our lives, amen.

Christmas Ain’t Christmas

The sign read “Christmas Ain’t Christmas “( think it was advertising a play). But without Mary and Joseph, without the manger, without the Baby, the Lord Jesus Christ who came into our world, who wants to come into our lives, “Christmas ain’t Christmas”. Merry Christmas, amen.

How Far Will We Go?

The Wise Men traveled a long way to find Jesus, how far will I go? The Wise Men brought their treasures, what will I bring to Him? The Wise Men fell down and worshiped Him, Lord, help us do the same.✝️Merry Christmas, amen.

In a Small Town

"Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem”, in a small town, God brought our Saviour into our world and oh, into our lives. This Christmas has so much meaning for me. I’ve come face to face with my mortality. I trust Him with my today and my forever. “Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem”, Merry Christmas, amen.

The Dividing Line

For many the dividing line about Jesus is found in Matthew 2:11-12, where the angel tells the shepherds that a Saviour, Christ the Lord has been born. A baby in a manger,✝️ Jesus, fully God, fully human, came in the flesh as the angel said as our Saviour.✝️ Oh, I love Christmas, celebrating Jesus coming into our world and into our lives. Merry Christmas, amen!

On the “biscuit run”,😇 I love my wife and daughter so much; it’s the least I can do, and it gives me great joy.🎉 God gives us families to bless and to encourage us; thank You for mine.🙏 Today, Father, we lift up all families to You; please protect them from our enemy Satan.✝️ Hey, it’s Sunday. See you in worship, amen.
