Wishing and hoping, we all do it, but it has no value, no effect. The only postive, powerful thing that works is prayer. Our son texted me, after he had asked for prayer for a friend’s healing, “Dad, prayer works!” Yes, it does. I just had a major one answered yesterday.🙏🙏 Let’s take our needs to the Lord, who made us. Left home yesterday afternoon, I had a lot on my mind. I reached for my phone, but I had forgotten it.😕 I felt helpless; I need my phone.😠Ever felt like this? How can I reach people without it? Then I realized that the Father’s direct line was always open, no waiting and that He wants to talk with us. Let’s put our phones down; let’s talk to the Father, today, amen.🙏

Oh what an awesome message from Bro. Don Howell last night, “Running in the wrong direction”. Many came to pray, rededicate their lives. In 1st Thessalonians 5:18, Paul says to “be thankful in all circumstances”. Sometimes that’s tough, but he didn’t say “feel thankful” but be thankful as a way of life. Father, today, thank You for being with us even in the toughest circumstances in life, help us to be “thankful” as a way of life, amen.
