It’s ”Daddy’s Day”; that’s what I call my daddy, not father. Oh, I still miss him and think about him every day. I remember the things he did for me (taught me to tie my tie) and the things he taught me😇. Call your “daddy” today; I wish I could✝️. At Lake Blackshear Baptist Church today, we honor all fathers and two faithful servants who are moving away.✝️ The message today is “No Condemnation”. Come worship, amen.

Sunday is the day set aside for worship:✝️ Will we do that? Do we sometimes put God second to good things? What is the most important thing in my life? That is what I will worship.✝️ Often when we talk to people about worshiping, they have a litany of really good things they are doing. Putting good things ahead of God,✝️I’ve been guilty. Father, help us, to put You, our Creator, our Saviour first in our lives, amen?

On the road yesterday, Deacon and I visited a member near Albany (who’s living with his daughter now) then we headed to Crisp Regional to visit a faithful servant. At the hospital, (I saw so many staff and volunteers that I hadn’t seen since Covid), I prayed with another faithful servant whose daughter died at Emory.🙏🙏  I then had prayer meeting, choir practice, and a dozen phone calls.😇 No one had to rock me to sleep.😀 Father, so many need You, for healing, deliverance and guidance, oh we lift them up to You, amen.

Thought I would have to have my phone surgically removed from my ear yesterday;😅 the calls continued until last nite✝️! I go back to the days, when you picked up the phone and the operator would say, “Number, please”.😇 Father, thank You for the new technology and the opportunity to use it for You.✝️ Lord, keep my phone busy today, amen.

Got my plate loaded, my wagon full🙄 with so many things to do, so many people who need prayer and help with an encouraging word.✝️ Psalm 46:10 reminds us to be busy, no, to be still and know that He is Lord! Father, in our busyness help us to find quiet time with You, to “be still” and know You as Lord, amen.

The Holy Spirit was at work yesterday.🎉 We had an awesome graduation of VBS.😇 It was a joy hearing the children tell they had learned that Jesus is their Friend.l, and then a young lady sang an awesome special. I was on cloud nine. The building was full with a record number in Sunday School.🎉The Holy Spirit wasn’t through. A couple came and joined the church family!! Yep, I was, am, on shouting ground. Oh, what a mighty God we serve, amen!

VBS:🎉it’s noisy, it’s fun! It’s all about Jesus. ✝️ It starts at ten a.m. today; we have lunch for all🎉(oh, come and see Farmer Phil😅). Graduation is tomorrow with lunch served. There are so many that need healing, those whose tears are flowing in sorrow and those who are lost. They need You, oh we need You, we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.

Late with my post due to problems with air conditioning on the blink.😝 We may need another unit,🙄then on the phone with a brother in Christ in the hospital and facing surgery and possible other medical issues.✝️ I realized my problem was small in comparison.✝️ I fell on my knees, that was all that I knew to do.🙏 I remembered Philippians 4:6-7: Father, we need you, help us please, in Jesus’ name, amen.

At coffee & prayer time, our men meet to pray about everyone and everything🙏. Learning each day about the power of prayer, as our son says, “dad, prayer works”. It is our two way communication with the Father. PBS had a special, featuring a singing star of the 50’s & 60’s. He sang “I did it my way”with standing applause. But I thought of all the times I did it “my way”, and the mess I made.😠 Proverbs 14:12 states “There is a way that seems right, but the end is death”. Father, I don’t want to do it “my way”; I want to do it Your way! Please help us, amen.
