Church family came together last night for a time of fellowship and worship. Thank you, Brotherhood and ladies for the hard work. We had a special blessing, a long time faithful member, who has struggled over the past few years, was able (her family brought her) to be there. Her birthday is tomorrow, so we sang happy birthday to her.🎉Father, in these difficult times we live in, thank You for these moments of joy and fellowship, Oh, we ask for more of them, amen.

The lady that prepares my tax return said “Please don’t cry!”  I owe☹️; I owe☹️, but I am so blessed. I have shoes on my feet, plenty to eat, my family and oh, our awesome church family. On the way home from her office, I began to sing, “Thank You Lord for Your blessing on me!!” Yep, despite the taxes I owe, I am blessed, amen?

Realized how unsophicated I am, I still call it “dinner” not lunch. We say grace over every meal; we were “raised” not reared (although we got some of that with a switch). You can get the boy out of the country, you just can’t get the “country” out of the boy.😄The Bible tells us “to train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he cannot depart from it”. (Proverbs 22:6) Father, we pray for all the parents, help them with their “raising” of their children, amen.

On my way to get biscuits for my wife and daughter, I started thinking how the Father had blessed two country bumpkins (we grew up with no electricity or indoor plumbing). I realized afresh and anew how absolutely dependent we are on Him. Father, thank You for your blessings on all of us, guide us today in Your path, help us share the blessings with others, amen.

An unexpected ministry, we have chimes playing the old favorite hymns 24/7. Many come and park at our church to listen to the chimes and pray.🙏🙏 Father, we need those quiet times of prayer, being one on one with You.✝️ Today, Father, we come into Your presence, to feel Your Holy Spirit, thank You for the quiet times, amen.

Yesterday, we had an awesome day of worship; we could feel the Holy Spirit’s presence.✝️ Father, we lift up all the churches preaching and teaching the true gospel, help us.🙏 We had a baptism yesterday, I still remembered how to do it,😇and I remembered to not “baptize” my watch.😅 Father, this is Your day, guide us in it, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Oh, we have Baptism today.✝️🎉God, is so good. Yes, all the time.🙏 I think one thing that Covid taught us is to not take anything for “granted!” Oh, I have a deeper appreciation for being able to worship in person, to meet in Sunday School, to baptize!! Father, You are restoring these to us, we thank You, we will treasure them, amen.

Funeral today for someone I don’t know, spent time with his children learning about him. I had to “prime” their pump, but then the memories came so fast and thick, they had to brush them away from their face.😇 We want our children to remember that we loved them unconditionally.❤️ We are so thankful they’re involved in music ministry in their churches. Father, we lift up the “families”; help them please, amen.

Our son was honored by the school board in Augusta.🎉 As all parents, we are proud and engage in a little “parental bragging”, but our love for all of our children is not based on achievements, but because they’re ours! God’s love for us is unconditional, He demonstrated that love on the Cross.✝️  We are His by creation and redemption! Father, thank You for loving us, regardless, amen.

This is a prayer offered by Bro. Paul Reason, Oliver & Annette’s son. Dear Lord, I ask You to protect those who are embattled in the Ukraine, GROSSLY  outnumbered, GROSSLY outgunned. I ask that You put Your SHIELD of ARMOUR around them. That You HOLD THEM UP, that You fulfill Your Scripture to protect the oppressed, that You favor the children of God and make them safe from attack from those who seek to conquer and kill them. I ask and pray this in the Name of the most HOLY, the most NOBLEST the most POWERFUL Entity known and worshiped by mankind. As the Son of God, please look down on this Earth You created, and if by Your WILL, please smite their Enemies and Restore Peace to the conflict in Ukraine!!! Amen.

Old gospel song came into my mind at the height of the storm, “Keep me safe till the storm passes by”. Psalm 32:7 states: “You are my hiding place”. Our only hope, our only protection during these dark days of Covid, war, violence, and unrest is in Him! Our youngest daughter, when a storm came, would run and jump in the bed with us. We were her hiding place. Oh Father, be our hiding place, in Jesus’ name, amen.

A young lady, we’ve known since she was born (her father is our neighbor) posted: 'We are so excited!🎉 Our loan has gone through! We can buy a full tank of gasoline!'🎉😅 War, economic unrest, plagues - is there a message here? There’ll be a great shout, a trumpet blast, and all the dead in Christ shall be raised. We who remain will be raptured away. Oh today, would be good, amen.
