My Heart Is Full

My heart is broken over the war in the Ukraine with a maternity hospital bombed. Father, we ask for peace, for deliverance. Please stop this violence now.πŸ™πŸ™ I have an unspoken prayer request, for healing, another for someone to be saved. Oh, my heart is full;❀️ hear us Father, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Help Us to Know

Got a haircut yesterday (my church doesn’t want a “ hippy” preacher), as the lady clipped, it looked as if it was snowing. Could this white hair be the reason I can’t remember names? Know faces, but names often elude me. It’s embarrassing, so please forgive me.☹️ Father, help us today to “know” and reach out to others, for all those on my prayer list, I lift them up in Jesus’ name, amen.

Coffee Time

On the way to coffee and prayer time with the men. One of our deacons came up with this idea, and oh it has blessed us. Please come by on Tuesday mornings at 7:15 AM  and have a cup of coffee and a prayer.πŸ™ What an awesome way to start your day!πŸ˜‡ Father, thank You for everything but most of all for saving us.✝️  We pray now for those who are lost - that Your Holy Spirit will break through to them before it’s everlastingly too late, amen.

Blue Monday

Monday, Monday.πŸŽ‰ Remember the old Fats Domino song? “How I hate Blue Monday☹️”. Now, I’m so thankful for another week. Age makes you treasure each day, each moment.✝️ Father, we thank You for today, help us use it wisely. Father, I lift up those in the Ukraine, please deliver them, amen.

Pray for Ukraine

Oh Father, I come to You in humbleness, asking You to deliver those in danger in the Ukraine. Please protect them, stop this war.✝️ Speak to those who are attacking that they would stop this evil. It’s Satan inspired! I ask for peace today, in Jesus’ name, amen.

We Claim John 3:16

Gas is four dollars a gallon😝, but hang on it will get worse. Jesus spoke of wars, pestilence, and bad economic times before the end.✝️ We must redouble our efforts, our prayers to reach those that are lost before it everlastingly too late.πŸ™ Watch soon, I believe, that we will need an ID number to be able to buy anything.☹️ Father, we claim John 3:16 in our lives, amen.

Let Jesus In

When I recite John 3:16…we all know that one…✝️, I realize anew how utterly dependent on God I am for everything, even the next breath of life, and how He has planned and guided my life. Oh, l’ve strayed, but He brought me back. He has you in His hands also; He has awesome plans for you. In the Revelation, He says that He stands at the door and knocks, oh let’s let Him in, today, amen.

War, War, War

Scarlet’s opening line from (GWTW), ‘War, war, war.’ I was born in 1941 (do the math). All my life has been punctuated by war; nothing new. Read the Old Testament - war, a device by Satan, is used to cause pain, suffering, death, which Satan delights in! Now in the Ukraine, oh Father, we ask for their deliverance, please stop this WAR!πŸ™ Father, we need You, help us now, in Jesus’ name, amen.

The Dividing Line

At an associational meeting last night, we heard an awesome Hispanic pastor remind us there is only one dividing line among all people. It has nothing to do with race or skin color. The dividing line is this: are you saved or lost?  Oh my, he is so right.✝️ Father, empower us to share the good news so that all might cross the dividing line, that all would be saved.πŸ™πŸ™ Amen.

Please Forgive Me

In our Sunday School lesson today, Joseph forgave his brothers for throwing him into a pit and selling him into slavery.✝️ On the cross, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them”. If anyone has wronged me, I don’t remember it, and I forgive you.πŸ™ And oh for those I have wronged, please forgive me!πŸ™ Father, as You have forgiven us, don’t let us harbor hate or resentment toward anyone, set us free from this tool of Satan, amen.

Make a Joyful Noise

Air got into our water lines so every time you opened a faucet, it went SQUANK!! The plumber came and fixed it. I was taking a shower, just singing away when my wife came to beat on the door. “What is it?”, I yelled. She said, “I thought the plumber repaired those pipes”.πŸ˜… Better watch this joyful noise guy. I’ll start singing.πŸ˜‡ I’ve got a lot to sing about. Do you? Let’s do it. Sing, “What a Mighty God, we serve!” Amen.

We Are Ready

Another Sunday morning, Father, help us be faithful and worship You. I pray that all the houses of true worship would be filled and we would lift our hands in praise. And Father, we pray that You would soon return for us. It’s been so long, and we want to go home with You.✝️ We long for the great shout and the trumpet’s blast. Please come, we are ready, amen.

Don’t Waste Time

Trying to sleep lateπŸ˜‡, the cats came in and demanded attention!πŸ˜… Saturday used to be a day off. Now as I see my days slipping away, I try to make the most of it. I’ve been so blessed, so help me make the most of the days that I have remaining. Father, it’s Your time, help me use it wisely. I don’t want to waste it.✝️ Father, I lift up those in need of healing, please deliver them, amen.

Join Me in Prayer

Would you join me in this prayer? Father, we fall before You, asking for mercy, deliverance. We confess our sins; we are helpless, hopeless without You. On every hand there is violence, unrest, danger. Please help us to worship, to serve You. Bring us back where we have strayed. Please save us, we ask in Jesus’ name, amen.

God Use Us

Saw the huge full moon this morning, it reminded me of the beauty of God’s creation. As I went to the cross in our church to pray, I was reminded of His love and forgiveness. Oh, I needed this. I’m in deep prayer for several families in sorrow and for a faithful servant facing major health issues. I’m on the way to Montezuma to share with the Kiwanis club. Father, it’s Your day, use it, use us, amen.
