Up early😇no hot water, so I☹️called my friend, Bro. Joe, the fix it man.🎉 He’s on his way!🙏🙏 I got caught up on my praying.🙏🙏 Isn’t  it amazing how God can get our attention?🙄 He uses everything, the good and the bad in His economy. As a new year dawns before us, let’s resolve that His Holy Spirit would be the dominating force in our lives. Thank You, Father, for caring for us in the “big” things and the “small” things - amen!

Merry Christmas!🎉 We had a great day yesterday with worship at the nursing home; our daughter played the piano, we sang carols, and read the Christmas story. Last night over 65 attended our candle light service. God is so awesome!✝️ Father, we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, and we pray and ask in His Name for peace, harmony, healing and comfort for all those in need.🙏 Thank You, Lord, for saving us, the best gift ever, amen.

It’s Christmas Eve. We are in deep prayer for a precious lady from our church on the way to Mobile carrying her father to see his baby brother, who is a the point of death.🙏🙏 Father, thank You for sending Jesus into our world and lives, so that we can know that the grave is not the end✝️. Tonight at 6 PM, we have a Candle Light service, 30 minutes long. Come as you are. Let’s celebrate, let’s worship, amen. (It will be streamed live at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church.)

Oh, what a night!🎉We went caroling for the first time in three years. We went to five homes. It was an awesome time of joy and worship!✝️ Thank You, Father, and thank all who participated.😇It’s almost Christmas, and I’m ready; the tree is up, the presents wrapped and my heart is ready to celebrate the physical birth (He has always existed) of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Father, thank You for Jesus coming into our world and into our lives, amen.

Awesome day with ladies from the church, a Deacon, and our Children’s Director. We were able to reach many children and their families with food and gifts  for Christmas .🎉 (They did the work, i just watched😇.) On my way home, I was in one one one conversation with the Father.✝️ It dawned on me I can talk, one on one, with omnipotent Creator of the cosmos. I can’t talk with the president, the governor, or my congressmen. They won’t take my call,☹️ but 24/7 The Father, is available! Oh my, let’s talk to Him today, amen.

A friend told me, “I got my wife’s Christmas Present”. I asked, “What did you get her?”He replied “A belt and a bag!” I responded, “She’ll love that!” He said, “Yeah, and the vacuum cleaner should run better!”😅 I do have my wife’s present, our baby daughter helped me. At this point in our lives, we don’t need things; we need the closeness of our family, our friends, our church family. Most of all we need the presence of the Lord in our lives. Oh, we feel Him, do you? Amen.

Oh, we are so blessed by our church family with goodies, flowers, cards.🎉Father, thank You for them and their ministry. Some of our ladies are preparing gifts for our “Angel tree” children, this morning. It’s been a tough two years; God has used it to teach us that our best days for Him are ahead. And Father, thank You for Jesus coming into our world and into our lives, Merry Christmas!🙏🙏

Father, help, encourage us to come worship today.🎉Father, for those who are prevented from coming, because of pain, sickness, or circumstances, encourage them to worship where they are, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Attended a funeral for the brother-in-law of one of our church family. He was a faithful servant of our Lord. At the grave side his pastor said to the family “this is not the end!” Death for the Christ follower is only a transition. At the moment of death, we are ushered into his presence. Father, today, we lift up all those in sorrow, please put Your arms around them, reassure them that the grave is not the end.✝️ Help us share this good news, amen.

Had a wonderful time with the Cordele Kiwanis. They laughed at my jokes; we worshiped together; they even put up with my singing!😄 Our lives are punctuated with moments of joy and of course sadness. This will continue until we are gathered home with Him. Father, thank You for this day, this moment, help us use it wisely, thank You for it, amen.

Speaking to the Cordele Kiwanis Club today. I’m little nervous. I can preach a little, but not an after dinner speaker.😇 One of our church family is an active member, maybe she’ll cheer me on. I want to seize every opportunity to share about our Lord and Saviour. My time is running short; I want to make the most of it. Father, this Your day, help us use it wisely, amen.

The LBBC Church “Christmas Party” was last night. We ate, laughed, sang, and worshipped. It’s been two years since the last one. COVID has taught us not to take anything for granted -😇not even life itself. It is all a gift from God.✝️ Father, we thank You for the joys You give us. Help us remember they are all from You and not to take them for “granted” - amen.🙏

Oh, what an awesome day of worship yesterday!🎉It’s been two years since we’ve had a cantata. Oh, I had tears in my eyes, joy in my heart. We could feel the strong presence of the Lord.✝️ Now, let’s look around us at those who are sick, hurting, lonely, yes “lost”. God encourages us to reach out to them.🙏 It’s what God has called us to do. God give us opportunities today, in Jesus’ name, amen.
