We’ve learned new ways of worship, how to shop on line, how to be really careful, but most of all it has reminded us that the Father is still God✝️. Praying for our farmers and producers that they will have a bountiful and safe harvest. As I look at the white fields of cotton, I remember what Jesus said in John 4:35: “the fields are white, ready to harvest”. Oh this is the time, people need a relationship with Christ as never before. Check the news. Father, send us into the fields, they’re white, ready for harvest, help us, amen.

It’s must be this gray hair.😕 I forget the simplest things. I meet people; I know them, but sometimes 😕I can’t recall their names. Please forgive me🙄. This morning, I made a cup of coffee and sailed out for Hardee's for the morning biscuit. I left my coffee in the kitchen,☹️ but l’m so thankful that the Father tells us in Isaiah 43 and Hebrews 8 that “I will remember their sins no more!!” They’re under the Blood of Jesus.✝️ I won’t forget that!!  Amen!

Father, thank You for another day of life. It’s the day set aside for worship. Help us do that. Father, our prayer is for the least, the last, the lost.🙏 Father, thank You for saving a sinner like me. We ask for deliverance for our nation, for healing and for repentance. Let it begin with me, amen.

Memory machine is running.😇 Our family legacy, my grandfather, at age ten, was made by some of Sherman’s Outriders to draw water for their horses at the 1832 cabin. Our great, great grandparents helped established the church my sister and I grew up in. (Parental bragging) our children are deeply involved in the music ministry of their churches. Father, we thank You for the precious memories, how they ever flood our soul, in Jesus’ name, amen.

A faithful member of our church just turned 91 (my wife and I sang happy birthday to him). He is faithful in Sunday School, in worship, and helps with Brotherhood.✝️ He is an awesome servant of the Lord. I know what his reward will be; it’s the one we should all strive for, “well done thou good and faithful servant🙏”. Father, please bless all those who are so faithful in their service, we need them, amen.

I told the group “I’m man of untold wealth”. One asked, “how much wealth, do you have?” I replied, “I’m not telling!”.😅 But oh we’re all “rich” with another day of life, a Savior and the Holy Spirit living in us✝️. The blessings are so great, so many, we are a people of “untold wealth!” Oh wait, let’s tell someone today, amen?

Rational thinking- we are encouraged to do that, but when God told Abraham to leave home for place that he’d never been that wasn’t rational. That was obeying God, Who had awesome plans for him. God has given us His word, the Bible and His Spirit to guide and direct us. That may not be what the world calls rational thinking, but it’s what Abraham did. It led to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Father, guide us, direct us today, amen.

TV has “eleven hundred” channels, and I 😄clicked through most of them. For many they offer up violence, I don’t need any pretend violence. There’s plenty of the real thing; just check the news. 47 degrees is brrr. Elizabeth and I lived in Indiana and Germany while we were in the service. As two South Ga. “country bumpkins”, we learned what cold weather was all about.😇 Genesis 8:22: “As long as the world endures, there will be seed time, harvest, summer, winter, day and night, shall not cease”. ✝️ The cold temps this morning remind us afresh and anew that He is God and all things are in His care. Thank You Father, amen.

The memo said “ASAP”, as soon as possible. Maybe this would be better “ASAP”, always stop and pray! In my latter years, I find myself praying about everything. In the morning I pray (as I leave for Hardee’s), Father, please protect me from the deer and the deer from me.😇 Nothing is too minute that the Father doesn’t want to hear about it. Read a lot, don’t know much, but I read where our entire world in a “mess”. Oh my,😕 but I also read: “Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me!” Father, if we only read, watch and listen to the “news”, our hearts will be troubled.😕 We know from Your Word, that You are the way, the truth and the life, and that no one comes to You but by Jesus. Thank You, so glad we read it, amen.
