Blood is Thicker than Water

Attending a funeral for a cousin I had rarely seen over the years. His mother was a favorite of mine. Time and distance takes a toll on family relationships. Have a distant relative? Call them, text them, my mother told me that “ blood is thicker than water”. She meant that family is so important. Before the tabernacle, the temple or even the church, God created the family. Father, thank you for the family, help us to draw closer to each other and to you, in Jesus name, amen.
